Emily Obert

Weekend MBA Student, Ross School of Business

Emily Obert is in the weekend MBA program at the Ross School of Business and works as the experience design director of product equity, inclusion and accessibility at Ford Motor Company. Emily is passionate about sharing knowledge about disability inclusion and accessibility with her classmates with the belief that “all business leaders should have some familiarity with disability and accessibility.” She is also a member of a new student group at Ross: Business Leaders for Diverse Abilities.

Annie Maguire

Annie Maguire

MSW'23

Annie Maguire (MSW ’23) is a Social Worker with a strong desire to pursue peace and justice through community-based and relational change. Annie is originally from Madison, Wisconsin, where she grew up around the lakes, trees, and soft hills of the northern midwest. She has lived and traveled abroad, concentrating her social work in the sphere of advocacy for migrants and refugees, children, and the planet. Annie graduated from U-M after completing the MSW program with a concentration in global social work. She has been inspired by her social work education to pursue the intersection between eco-psychology and geo-psychiatry–fields that study the mental health impacts caused by global events like migration and climate change on humans living on this messy, complicated, beautiful planet we call
home.

Program Specialist, Sanger Leadership Center

Nick Viviano (he/him/his) is a program specialist at the Sanger Leadership Center at Michigan Ross. He oversees a variety of leadership development programs, including Story Lab and the Leadership Crisis Challenge.
